DETAIL ITINERARY

DAY 1: (ARRIVE IN PHNOM PENH AIRPORT)

Met up and transfer to your hotel in Phnom Penh city, overnight in Phnom Penh

DAY 2: (PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR)

Morning: After breakfast, we start our day trip to explore the capital and largest city of Cambodia, and see Royal Palace, National Museum and the remnants of its French colonial history. Just outside the city, the The Killing Fields (Choeung Ek)

First, stop at the Royal Palace that was constructed by King Norodom between 1866 and 1870; this original palace was largely demolished and rebuilt between 1912 and 1932, largely in the traditional royal style common to Southeast Asia. It is situated at the Western bank of the confluence of the Tonle Sap River and the Mekong River called Chaktomuk (an allusion to Brahma).

Next, see National Museum. to admire one of the best examples of traditional Cambodian architecture that was built when Cambodia was under the French colonial. Continue to Wat Onnalom, Learn about its 15th-century foundation. Learn why it is one of the most important monasteries in Phnom Penh.

Next, stop at one of the most significant sites in Phnom Penh: Wat Phnom and Lady Penh Statue. Before visiting the actual Temple, you will see the statue of Lady Penh, who Phnom Penh is named after.

Afternoon: Before going to the Genocide Museum, you will have a lunch break at a good local restaurant. Then, walking in the Russian Market before heading to the Killing Field.

Choeung Ek Genocidal Center, you will have to get the audio guide to learn about the history of the Khmer Rouge regime, there will be a briefly about the history by watching the short movie video of the killing field before you using the audio player.

Evening: then you’ll walk the outside of The Royal Crematorium next to The Royal Palace and the public park in front, known as a local spot to relax and socialize. And or explore the satellite city or the “Paris to Phnom Penh”, Diamond Island. Along the way you will see the Patriarch of Monks Statue, the Buddhist Institute, the Cambodian Parliament Building, China Town, and Mekong Upper and Mekong Lower, Tonle Sap and Tonle Bassac.

Recommend: See Phnom Penh from the water on a relaxing sunset boat tour with enjoy the beer and soft drinks, watch the monuments pass by, including the Royal Palace.

Back to your hotel, overnight in Phnom Penh

DAY 3: (PHNOM PENH TO KAMPOT / KEP)

Morning: Pick up from your hotel in Phnom Penh then transfer to Kampot or Kep by stop and visit The wonderful Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre is home to gibbons, sun bears, elephants, tigers, lions, deer, enormous pythons and a massive bird enclosure. Note this is not the zoo so some wild animal, you may can not see after the center free them back to the jungle.

We then continue to Phnom Chisor, a popular ancient temple and contemporary monastery site. The ancient temple is quite large and wondrous, built on the hillside with a spectacular

Next, see Wat Puth Kiri s a monumental statue of the Buddha flanked by thousands of smaller statues. Also known as Buddha Kiri, the site is absolutely stunning destination taking advantage of the beautiful natural landscape, it actually sits at the junction of Kampong Speu, Takeo and Kampot

Afternoon: Lunch at the local restaurant or enjoy cafe break at fast food mart and arrive at your hotel.

Evening: Visit Kep national park and market tour at Crab Market, enjoy the fresh seafood for your dinner. Back to your hotel, overnight in Kampot or Kep

DAY 4: (KAMPOT & KEP TOUR)

Morning: 8.00am after breakfast, Embark on an exhilarating one day adventure in Kampot Visit famous areas in Kampot province Such as. Bokor National park, salt field, and Pepper plantation

We first drive up the Bokor National Park, designated as an ASEAN Heritage Park it’s about 1,000 metres above sea level, a remote settlement build by the French colonialists in 1921. They also built a Catholic church nearby in 1928, a very rare sight in Cambodia, In 1941 Khmer King name Monivong ordered the construction of a Buddhist temple in the area in 1924.

Here, the national park has become a popular tourist destination and now includes Thansur Bokor Highland Resort, the large luxury hotel and casino are built. Back to your hotel for resfeshing and enjoy your lunch.

Afternoon: We continue our trip to the Sothy’s Pepper Farm, See how famous Kampot Pepper – Green, Black, Red, and White – is produced, without chemical fertilizers or insecticides, taking a tour in Cambodian,.

Next, visit Phnom Chhngok Temple, a wonderful cave temple with 203 staircase that leads up and past a Buddhist shrine to its entrance. Inside the cave’s main chamber stands a remarkable 7th-century (Funan-era) brick temple, dedicated to Shiva. Admire the wonderful views from the cave entrance.

Visit Brateak Krola Lake, an artificial lake constructed in the time of the Khmer Rouge, before heading back to your hotel, Overnight in Kampot / Kep.

DAY 5: (KAMPOT TO BATTAMBANG)

Morning: Pick up from your hotel in Kampot or Kep then transfer to Battambang, stop and visit the Ancient City of Oudong.

Here, was a royal residence and Cambodia’s capital for almost 250 years from 1618 until 1866 it was formally called Oudong Meanchey, it was abandoned by King Norodom, taking his royal court along with him to the current capital, Phnom Penh. Enjoy a scenic hike. Witness stunning scenery from the mountain top and the stupa which contains the remains of former kings and marvel at 5,000 Buddha statues. Take some time to walk around and peruse the street food markets.

Afternoon: Afternoon: We may have a lunch break at the local restaurant, continue our trip to Battambang, you will highlight the 2 province city of Kampong Chhnang and Pursat where Pottery Village famous for producing traditional Khmer pottery, a craft that has been passed down from generation to generation for over 1,500 years. Jars, vases, incense burners, piggy banks, traditional cookers, and pots can all be found in front of almost every house near Phnom Krang Dei Meas, an area rich with red clay. Arriving at your hotel overnight in Battambang.

DAY 6: (BATTAMBANG TOUR)

Morning: After Breakfast 8.00am, we start the tour to see the “real” Battambang, how local families still make their living today. You’ll learn how the families make Rice Paper (for making the spring roll), Prahoc (typical Cambodian fish paste), Krolan (sticky rice cooked with bamboo), and other Cambodian treats. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the Battambang area is known for its high quality rice and oranges.

Next, we see Wat Ek Phnom. It is a Hindu temple built in the 11th century ancient temple fronted by a contemporary pagoda that also features a giant Buddha statue. Here is a very popular picnic and pilgrimage destination for Khmers, especially on local holidays, and especially for women trying to conceive.

Afternoon: return back to your hotel for refreshing, lunch and short nap, then visit the Wooden Ancient House aged over 100 years (built in 1920).

Next, continue to Wat Banan temple, a beautiful and serene Angkorian temple on a hilltop with great views.

Ride the Bamboo Train, start from the station lead the train through colonial bridges, stunning rural countryside and at some points, lush jungle greenery. Where the train stops, the surrounding shops and huts offer visitors the opportunity to purchase refreshments and souvenirs.

Continue to Phnom Sampeau, here was a Khmer Rouge front line. In the mountain there is a so-called Killing Cave, in which the Khmer Rouge murdered critics of the regime. Explore the Bat Cave, witness wrinkle-leap bats flying out from the cave. Back to your hotel, overnight in Battambang

DAY 7: (BATTAMBANG TO SIEM REAP)

Morning: Pick up from your hotel in Battambang then transfer to Siem Reap,  by stop and visit Banteay Chhmar one of Cambodia’s major ancient temple, and the surrounding satellite temples are all unique constructions,

Next on the way to Siem Reap stop at Stone Sculptures by artists in Preah Net Preah district are popularly displayed around workplaces, these artists has the good work in carving stone into various shapes for sale to serve the needs to be displayed in In different places.

DAY 8: (ANGKOR SMALL CIRCUIT TOUR)

Morning: at 7.00am pick up from your hotel lobby then purchase temple ticket and Kulen mountain ticket for visiting to

  • Banteay Srei: Banteay Srei is a 10th-century Hindu temple and built largely of red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to the elaborate decorative wall carvings which are still observable today. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as a “precious gem”, or the “jewel of Khmer art”.
  • Kulen mountain national park: on the mountain where we can see The River of a Thousand Lingas carved on the river bed, Buddhist monastery temple where the giant reclining Buddha statue carved on the top of big rock and the Waterfall (the water is very clear if no raining) enjoy your swim at the natural swimming pool of holy waterfall. (recommended to bring the swimming suits).

Afternoon: Relax for lunch at the local restaurants near the waterfall then continue to see the ruin jungle temple on the east side of Kulen mountain called

  • Beng Mealea: was built as a Hindu temple, but some carvings depict Buddhist motifs. Its primary material is sandstone and it is largely unrestored, with trees and thick brush thriving amidst its towers and courtyards and many of its stones lying in great heaps.

Evening: Recommend buffet dinner with Apsara dance performance. Back to your hotel or drop at the old market and Pup street. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 9: (PHNOM KULEN & BENG MEALEA TOUR)

Morning: Today we wake up early at 5.00am to see

  • Angkor Wat Sunrise: Know as the Most Famous Sunrise in The World and explore the whole complex of the temple.
  • Angkor Wat: originally constructed as a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire by King Suryavarman II during the 12th century, it was gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the century; as such, it is also described as a “Hindu-Buddhist” temple. Then enjoy your break at the local restaurants near the temple.

After breakfast, continue to see the main temples in small circuit, first stop at

  • South gate of Angkor Thom: along with a bridge of statues of gods and demons. Two rows of figures each carry the body of seven-headed Naga.
  • Bayon: Built in the late 12th or early 13th century the similarity of the 216 gigantic faces on the temple’s towers to other statues of the has led many scholars to the conclusion that the faces are representations of Jayavarman VII, himself
  • Baphuon: Built in the mid-11th century, it is a three-tiered temple mountain and the state temple of Suryavarman I dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. the measures surface 120 metres east-west by 100 metres north-south at its base and stands 34 meters tall
  • Phimeanakas: Built at the end of the 10th century, during the reign of Rajendravarman (from 941 to 968), then completed by Suryavarman I and enclosed by a wall 600 by 250 meters.
  • Terrace Elephant: The terrace was used by Angkor’s king Jayavarman VII as a platform 350m-long which to view his victorious returning army.
  • Leper King: Located north next of the Terrace of Elephants, Built in the late 12th century with 7m-high platform, on top of which stands a statue. The front retaining walls of the terrace are decorated with at least five tiers of meticulously executed carvings. there is access to a hidden terrace with exquisitely preserved carvings.

Afternoon: Relax for lunch at local restaurants before continue to

  • Ta Prohm: The temple is referred to as the “Tomb Raider Temple” or the “Angelina Jolie Temple” due to its depiction in the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001).
