DETAILED TOUR ITINERARY
Morning: We Start out in the morning from your accommodation in Siem Reap and travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Angkor Enterprise for purchasing Angkor Pass/Ticket (we go direct temples if you a valid ticket)
The trip frequently include visit at:
- Angkor Wat temple: Inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992, celebrated for its grand scale and extensive, intricate bas-reliefs, built by King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. Spanning over 400 acres, it is the largest religious structure in the world and a masterpiece of Khmer architecture.
- Angkor Thom City: The last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire, established by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century. This vast, fortified city hides several architectural wonders. Its highlights include the Bayon Temple, famous for its 216 massive, smiling stone faces looking out over the ruins, and the Terrace of the Elephants an impressive 350 meter-long viewing platform once used for royal ceremonies.
Afternoon: Relax and enjoy for lunch.
- Ta Prohm Temple: A sprawling temple complex famously left largely as it was found—choked by the jungle in Angkor Park. Unlike the cleared and restored temples, Ta Prohm offers a romantic, “Indiana Jones” atmosphere. You will wander through crumbling stone galleries that are actively being strangled and supported by the massive roots of ancient Silk-cotton and Strangler Fig trees. It is also famously known as the “Tomb Raider” temple due to its feature in the 2001 film.
- Extra Time: Explore local produce, crafts, textiles, and unique souvenirs.
We then return back to Siem Reap and drop off at your hotel or somewhere in city end of service.
